Goals


At St Stephen’s we have two very simple goals for the children:

1. THAT THEY WOULD BE WELCOMED INTO A LOVING AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT.

2. THAT THEY WOULD GET TO KNOW JESUS & HIS LOVE FOR THEM.

Groups

Each Sunday our children are invited into their three different age groups which currently run as two larger groups.

  1. Pebbles: Nursery & reception (roughly age 3-4)

  2. Groundbreakers: Year 1-3

  3. Rock Solid: Year 4-6

It is important to note that our groups start from when your child enters primary school nursery and they move groups every September, just like school years.

We hope to be able to offer a group for secondary school children and a creche for those under 3 years old soon.

We do have a very small creche for babies under 6 months old.

ChurchSuite, registration & check-in.

As we have 200+ children registered for children’s work and an average attendance of 100+ children each Sunday we face the logistical challenge of ensuring our children are safe and leave groups with the right adult. For this reason we run a registration and check-in system with the help of ChurchSuite.

If you are interested in coming, please book in via our calendar. We have two services so choose the one you’re hoping to attend and book your child in for the corresponding children’s group.

NEEDED

We believe participation rather than consumption is core aspect of church. So please ask how you could contribute to God’s mission of love to his children young and old.

Your giving will help fund what we do; your presence will encourage us to keep doing it, and your shoulder to the wheel will not only lighten the load, it will warm your heart also.
