Slates start coming down

A week after getting the go ahead from the scaffolding team, the roofing team arrived. They wasted no time getting to work. There was plenty of prayer going into what they would find underneath the old slate. Thankfully the old roof was still strong, old but strong. Fortification with new batons and a waterproof, breathable membrane would make for a sealed and secure roof.
